Berne

Herr E. from Berne was declared missing after failing to complete a transatlantic flight. He left a wife and three children aged 8 to 14.

As most insurance policies will only pay out after two years have elapsed, we and the widow’s brother got together to propose to the Swiss insurance company that they should waive the rule in this case.

With our help, the widow’s brother was successful in this application so that we did not after all have to implement an interim solution for the two year-period leading up to the settlement of the claim.
