Casework: Principles

On these pages you will find some examples of the care and support we have provided. We hope that these will clarify the scope and type of work that we do. These are mainly cases that we have brought to a successful conclusion. We have sought the approval of those involved, even where they have not been named, to outline their individual case. As confidence in the work of the Foundation is dependent on our respecting confidentiality, no details of the care and support we give can be revealed without the express agreement of those concerned.

The Mayday Foundation handles an average of 30 cases per year where some form of assistance is required. The amount of time spent on giving support can vary widely – from a single interview to intensive contact over a number of years.

In addition, the Foundation also provides CISM support – at the moment we are handling ca. 250 CISM-measures per year.
